It’s not really a homepage if I only talk about my research :)

I always feel a sense of pride whenever I tell someone that I come from Vietnam. We do have great food (as endorsed by Anthony Bourdain and Gordon Ramsay), and my personal favorite is bánh hỏi lòng heo. Some fun facts about Vietnam: if you can manage to drive a car in our traffic, I guarantee you can drive a car anywhere in the world; our coffee is really good, and it is supposed to be served like this; and Vietnamese can do this.

If anyone were to ask me what I would do if I hadn’t take on research as a career, then I have a long list. I do have a lot of interests in random stuff. Since I was in primary school, I took football (a.k.a., soccer) classes and practiced a lot, and it is still my hobby now. I am also a longtime racing fan (Vettel was my favorite driver, now it’s Verstappen), and I do love karting as well as racing sims. I am an aviation geek - I’ve always loved watching planes, spaceships and rockets. My personal best time in solving a Rubik’s cube is 10.99 seconds. I play billiards good enough that I can run out a 9-ball rack on my day :)

I am a fan of cinema. Some of my favorite movie directors are Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Wong Kar-wai, and David Fincher. If you are also a fan of cinema, feel free to add me on my letterboxd account. On that note, I used to love photography a lot and it was my side job once. However, now I’d prefer to just use my phone to capture moments, rather than putting too much effort into making technically good photos. I still take photo with film cameras just for fun from time to time though.

I am a supporter of Chelsea Football Club. My favorite Chelsea legends are Didier Drogba, John Terry, and Eden Hazard, and my favorite (Chelsea) manager of all time is Jose Mourinho.
